The SoHo Grand Hotel New York is located in the SoHo District of Manhattan, which is south of Houston Street and north of Canal Street. The SoHo area has been transformed from a warehouse district to an arts district as artists and sculptors converted spacious warehouses into lofts. Galleries, chic restaurants and fashionable shops soon followed. Then came the SoHo Grand Hotel. Built in 1996, the SoHo Grand Hotel was the first hotel to be built in this thriving area in more than a century. The SoHo Grand Hotel, on 310 West Broadway at Grand Street, is within walking distance to art galleries and shops as well as the surrounding neighborhoods of Little Italy, Chinatown, Greenwich Village and Tribeca. Other attractions within a 1.5-mile radius of the hotel include: the World Trade Center, City Hall, the Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street and Battery Park. The Empire State Building, Penn Station, Madison Square Garden and Macy's are approximately two miles away. The Theater District, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, Saks Fifth Avenue and St. Patrick's Cathedral are within three miles of the hotel. Central Park, Carnegie Hall and Bloomingdale's are well within a five-mile radius.

SoHo Grand Hotel Suites

The SoHo Grand Hotel has four penthouse suites with marble baths and private terraces. The suites are approximately 755 square feet, with 300-foot terraces that offer spectacular views of Manhattan (one faces north, one faces south). The rooms are modern but homey, and the interior is done in muted, beige tones with custom-made, mahogany and upholstered furniture.

SoHo Grand Hotel Dining

Upstairs is the SoHo Hotel's lofty, modern restaurant located on the parlor floor of the hotel. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and for Saturday and Sunday brunches, the restaurant serves New American cuisine and has a broad selection of fine wines. The Grand Bar is open 7 days a week, serves over-sized Specialty cocktails and light menu.
